1. A method for cleaning a surface of a solar panel, comprising:
diluting a concentrate with water to obtain a rinsing fluid, the water for diluting the concentrate having a water hardness greater than deionized water; and treating the surface of the solar panel with the rinsing fluid in a single-step rinsing operation and thereby cleaning the surface, wherein the concentrate comprises at least one sequestering agent adapted to sequester calcium, magnesium and/or other multi-valent cations contained of the water used for diluting the concentrate, the sequestering agent including at least one of an organic phosphonic acid or salt thereof, an organic phosphoric acid or salt thereof, or a combination thereof, and wherein the concentrate is essentially free of surfactants. |
