PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in processability and capable of providing an automobile tire excellent in a low-heat property.SOLUTION: A conjugated diene rubber is obtained by reacting a modifying agent represented by the general formula (1) in the figure with a conjugated diene polymer chain in which one terminal is an isoprene group-containing block containing 80-95 wt.% of an isoprene monomer unit and 5-20 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit and the other terminal is an active terminal. A rubber composition contains the conjugated diene rubber, silica, and a silane coupling agent containing sulfur atoms.
