PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool capable of being easily brought into a construction site or the like and greatly improving cutting workability by solving the problem of difficulty in cutting a cotton-like (heat insulation/sound absorption) material made of chemical fibers, such as a cotton-like (heat insulation/sound absorption) material (PET wool) made of polyethylene terephthalate fibers, which is currently present on the market and is usually difficult to quickly cut in such a way that a neat cross section is obtained even with a sharp knife or sharp scissors due to the high strength of the fibers.SOLUTION: A knife blade (2) is mounted on one side of a cutting table (1) so as to make an acute angle with the horizontal surface of the cutting table (1). In cutting work, an object (3) to be cut is placed on the cutting table (1) and is moved from a front cutting blade part (2a) toward a rear blade tail (2b) of the knife blade (2), thereby cutting the object (3) to be cut. |
