The present invention provides a method and a device for searching the content of a page. The method including: receiving a search word query from a user; searching a search result by using the search word, wherein the search result includes a plurality of search items; and judging whether or not the search word is the keyword to trigger the comment mechanism; if yes, generating a comment topic according to the content or the popular attribute of the search items, and drawing a comment window for the comment topic in the search page, in order for the user to comment on the comment topic; alternatively, If yes, creating a chat window for the comment topic in the search page, according to the comment topic hit by the search word. By adopting the present invention, not only an information search function can be provided, but also the comment window or chat window can be provided for user interactions in the search page, for commenting or chatting by users.
