PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member capable of making fluorine concentration of a finally obtained fluorine-containing synthetic quartz glass at 1000 mass.ppm or more.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical member comprising synthetic quartz glass containing TiOof 1 to 12 mass% and also containing fluorine, where a variation range of the fluorine concentration in the optical member is within ±10% to an average fluorine concentration in the optical member. |
