PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet roll which is excellent in prevention of ply peeling, prevention of bouncing and partial contact in applying edge embossments, abrasion resistance of an edge emboss roll, and also excellent in prevention of a rib-like portion formation in a roll-like toilet roll.SOLUTION: A unit recessed embossment row 20L arranges unit recessed embossments 20, each including a short side which is parallel to a width direction perpendicular to a continuous direction of toilet paper and a long side which has an angle of 45-90° with respect to the width direction connecting both ends of the short side, the short side being 0.5-0.7 mm long, and the clearance between the short sides being 0.5-1.8 mm, in a rectangle shape, at 0.9-3.0 mm intervals. Two unit recessed embossment rows 20L are arranged in parallel while spaced apart from each other within a range of 2.5-6.0 mm in the width direction perpendicular to the continuous direction. Two short sides of the unit recessed embossment 20 of each row are in a position relationship in which the short side on a core side is close to another unit recessed embossment row 20L arranged in parallel, and the short side located on a pulling-out end side is far from another unit recessed embossment row 20L arranged in parallel. A toilet roll thus configured is provided. |
