A self loading mobile mixer comprising: -a frame; -a plurality of wheels (2; 202) supported by the frame for moving the mixer (1; 101; 201); -a driver's post (4) for accommodating an operator assigned tomaneuver the mixer (1; 101; 201 ); -a mixing drum (3) for preparing a mix by mixing at least one liquid and at least one dry component; -at least one tank (5) for containing said at least one liquid, said at least one tank (5) being in fluid communication with the mixing drum (3); -a lifting device (8) for handling a bag (6) containing said at least one dry component, the lifting device (8) being movable between a lowered position (C1 ) for picking up and releasing the bag (6) and a raised position (C2) in which the bag (6) is opened and its contents are poured into the mixing drum (3); -a discharge device (28) for discharging the mix that has been prepared in the mixing drum (3) from the mixer (1; 101; 201).
