PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device that makes reconstitution of erased data difficult and allows secure data erasure.SOLUTION: A storage device system includes: a driver which controls an interface between a nonvolatile memory and an external host; and a controller which is placed between the driver and a control unit of the nonvolatile memory and which detects a logical address of an old data area of a deleted or overwritten file. The controller writes invalid data to the logical address of the old data area of the deleted or overwritten file.
