PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strain gauge that has a simple structure and a high gauge factor, and can detect strain with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A strain gauge 200 includes: a strain gauge material 100 having a support layer 110 and a resistor layer 120; a pair of connection parts 130A, 130B that are respectively formed near a midpoint of two short sides of the resistor layer 120 of the strain gauge material 100; a lead wire 140A connected to the connection part 130A; a lead wire 140B connected to the connection part 130B; and a voltage detection part 150 connected to the lead wires 140A, 140B. The strain gauge material 100 has a thickness of the resistor layer 120 within a range of 26-115 nm, and an average value of a surface resistance within a range of 15-248 &OHgr;/sq. |
