PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, in a fuel cell system, a failure in a fuel cell and deterioration in a reforming unit caused by a sulfur component, by detecting abnormality of a recycle fuel pipe for returning part of fuel reformed by the reforming unit to a desulfurizer.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell 34; a reforming unit 33 for generating fuel for the fuel cell 34 from a reforming raw material and vapor; a desulfurizer 11a6 for removing, using hydrogen, a sulfur component included in the reforming raw material to supply the desulfurized reforming raw material to the reforming unit 33; a recycle gas pipe 39 that is connected with a reforming raw material supply pipe 11a for supplying the reforming raw material to the desulfurizer 11a6, and returns, as a recycle gas, part of fuel generated by the reforming unit 33 to the desulfurizer 11a6; and a first humidity sensor 39a1 for detecting humidity of the recycle gas. A controller 15 (step S104) detects passing of the recycle gas passing through the recycle gas pipe 39, on the basis of detection humidity Hk detected by the first humidity sensor 39a1. |
