A card settlement terminal of the present invention is provided with a settlement acceptance unit, a card data reader, a biological data acquisition unit and a processing unit. The settlement acceptance unit accepts a payment amount by a card. The card data reader reads card data that includes card identification information. The biological data acquisition unit acquires first biological data of a user. When second biological data is included in the card data, the processing unit executes biological authentication on the basis of the first biological data and the second biological data. If the first biological data is acquired and the second biological data is not acquired, the processing unit generates first settlement data that includes the card identification information, payment amount and first biological data, and sends the first settlement data to a server. If the first biological data and second biological data are acquired and biological authentication is successful, the processing unit generates second settlement data that includes the card identification information, payment amount and an authentication success notification, and sends the second settlement data to the server. |
