<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of preventing fault determination of an electrostatic atomizer from being performed more than needed. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizer 800 which is provided integrally in the sanitary washing device and performs deodorization and sterilization of a toilet room includes abnormality detection means 740 for detecting abnormality of a discharge current between an atomization electrode 832 and a counter electrode 833, count means 750 for counting the number of times of abnormality detection, and clock means 730, and the electrostatic atomizer 800 is determined to have a fault when the number of times of the abnormality detection detected by the abnormality detection means 740 is counted for the prescribed number of times or more continuously within the prescribed time. Thus, by prolonging the time to be taken for fault determination, a short-circuit state between the atomization electrode 832 and the counter electrode 833 due to dew condensation water is dissolved, and the fault determination is prevented from being performed more than needed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
