PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly-type wave-dissipating block which performs wave dissipation appropriate for an installation place and is easy to be installed and collected, and a breakwater using the same.SOLUTION: A block 3 comprises: a through hole 30 which penetrates a central part vertically in a planar view and through which a pile is inserted; uneven parts 31 and 32 which are disposed on top and bottom faces and fitted to each other when the blocks 3 are stacked, to prevent the blocks from being rotated; and a curved surface part 34 which releases in a horizontal direction and dissipates waves coming to side faces. Thus, a plurality of blocks 3 are stacked in different attitudes through the piles driven on the sea-bottom and waves are reflected multiple times by the curved surface parts 34 or planar parts 35 of the blocks 3 neighboring to each other, thereby constructing a breakwater capable of dissipating energy of waves appropriate for an installation place. Further, used blocks 3 can also be easily recovered. |
