The present invention relates to a run flat tire. The run flat tire comprises: a tread unit which is directly in contact with a road surface; a bead unit wherein a tire rim is mounted to be grounded; a body ply forming a frame of a tire; and a side wall connecting the tread unit and the bead unit through a side reinforcing layer and a side rubber layer which are individually formed in an inner side and an outer side of the body ply. A vertical line (b) vertically extending from a grounded end portion (Q) of a tire rim wherein the bead unit is grounded may be placed in a gap between a central point (T) of a reinforcing layer of a maximum thickness of the side reinforcing layer and a side wall central point (S) at a maximum thickness of a side wall. |
