<p>PURPOSE:To make reduction in the number of parts items and the promotion of space-saving both attainable, by installing a common cam driving motor linking up with each pickup roller installed at each paper feeding inlet and also a cam position detecting switch. CONSTITUTION:With rotation and drive of a motor M, all pickup rollers 14, 15 and 16 are moved up and down simultaneously. That is, when a cam 30 rotates counterclockwise, a lever 24 goes up along a lead surface 30a, while a shaft 21 rotates clockwise by each dead load of an arm 21a and the pickup roller 14, and finally the cam 30 separates from the lever 24, whereby the pickup roller 14 comes into contact with a paper surface. Hereat, a form of the cam lead surface 30a is made slidingly contact with the lever 24 till just before contact so as not to cause the pickup roller 14 to produce acceleration due to its own weight, and afterward is set so as to come off the lever, whereby noises and paper bend or scratches entailed at the time of contact of the pickup roller 14 are prevented from occurring. Thus, plural pickup rollers are drivable with one motor so that a setting space is reducible.</p> |
