an engine including an intake passage housing a compressor; and a vacuum generating device including a motive fluid inlet section extending from upstream of the compressor to downstream of the compressor, a value positioned along a length of the motive fluid inlet section, a diverging discharge section positioned within the intake passage upstream of an inlet of the compressor, and a suction inlet pneumatically communicating with a vacuum reservoir. |
