PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: there is a problem that fluctuation and variability of characteristics of a mapping variable is not sufficiently considered in a data similarity by use of a correlation coefficient; the correlation coefficient is not calculated including local variability of data; and if a correlation relationship hidden in the fluctuation of a targeted variable data is missed, existence of an effective variable that is suitable for monitoring or sensing as for a system action performance or an efficient action is missed in a system accompanied by processing data obtained from a monitoring or an image sensing in an actual environment.SOLUTION: A differential correlation coefficient estimation method and device performs a differential calculation of input data and then calculates a correlation coefficient. The differential correlation coefficient estimation method and device comprises: an element which performs a differential calculation of analytic data; and an element which converts a plurality of derivative terms into normalized expressions to obtain a correlation coefficient between two pieces of data. The present invention can find out a factor which provides a significant correlation coefficient as for an overlooked factor in the data analysis. |
