PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging apparatus capable of reducing noise of a pixel signal outputted from a photoelectric conversion part.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a solid state imaging apparatus which includes a plurality of pixels 100, each of which has a photoelectric conversion part 101 for generating charges in accordance with incident light; and a junction field effect transistor 102 for capturing the charges generated by the photoelectric conversion part 101 and outputting pixel signals in accordance with the charges. The pixel 100 is element-isolated in both a first element isolation region 106 using an insulator and a second element isolation region 207 using a PN junction.
