PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball that can increase carry, can obtain a soft hitting feeling, and can prevent a deterioration in crack durability.SOLUTION: A multi-piece solid golf ball includes: a core 1 configured by covering a center core 1a with an envelope layer 1b; a cover 3; and an intermediate layer 2 arranged between the core 1 and the cover 3. The center core 1a and the envelope layer 1b are made of an elastomer. A radius r (mm) of the center core 1a satisfies 5≤r≤15. In cross-sectional hardness (JIS-C hardness) of the core 1, (1) a hardness difference between arbitrary two points from a core center to a point separated from the core center by (r-2) mm is 2 or less, (2) hardness Hat a point separated from the core center by (r+1) mm and hardness Hat a point separated from the core center by (r-1) mm satisfy 10≤H-H≤35, (3) hardness Hat a point separated from a core surface by 2 mm and hardness Hat a point separated from the core center by (r+1) mm satisfy 0≤H-H≤7, and (4) a difference between core surface hardness (H) and core center hardness (H) is 20≤H-H≤40. |
