PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that allows a user to appropriately form a punched hole in a position for the punched hole in a printed matter.SOLUTION: A punched-hole detecting portion 303 detects whether two punched holes exist in image data of a manuscript or not. A position calculating portion 305, when detecting that the punched holes exist in the image data of the manuscript, calculates based on the two existing punched holes a center position corresponding to a center indication portion of a punch tool for forming the punched holes in a predetermined paper. An image adding portion 306 adds, to the calculated center position of the image data, an image of the center indicating portion for the center indicating portion of the punch tool. An image forming portion 304 performs image formation on the predetermined paper on the basis of the image data to which the image of the center indicating portion is added.
