<p>The device (1) has a thermistor detector (2) for detecting increase in temperature in a range of temperature values. The detector checks an electric continuity of the detector in another range of temperature values to detect a failure in the device. The detector exhibits termination impedance that is adapted to a measuring range of a controller (K). The controller takes an impedance measurement. The detector comprises a conducting sheath (7), two central conductors (6, 6') and an insulator (3), where conductivity of the insulator varies according to the temperature. The termination impedance is a resistance having a value of about hundred ohms to kilo ohms.</p> |
