PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to check the state of a vehicle and preferably enables remote control of some characteristic of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A system 10 has data transfer means for wirelessly communicating a message between a mobile communication device 18 operable by a user and a vehicle data bus disposed in a vehicle 12. The data transfer means selectively wireless communicates with a web server, a web portal 14, or another Internet-connected personal computer 16 or a mobile communication device 18. The data transfer means wirelessly communicates with the web portal through GSM or another mobile communication network 13. After a vehicle engine is stopped, communication of a message is continued on the Internet, and postponed until a predetermined time elapses or a vehicle battery voltage reaches a predetermined threshold value. A message having high importance degree is communicated at any time after the vehicle engine is stopped. |
