PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigidity test method and a device of an automobile vehicle body which can detect a weak point region in terms of structure which is improvable in vehicle body rigidity.SOLUTION: This rigidity test method has: a photographing step for photographing an automobile vehicle body 3 at a predetermined time interval while applying a load which periodically changes to the automobile vehicle body 3 fixed to a suspension device 5; a displacement amount acquisition step for acquiring a displacement amount of a specified point at each photograph timing in the automobile vehicle body 3 by performing image analysis for each photographed image; a strain amount calculation step for calculating a strain amount for each photographing timing of the specified point on the basis of the acquired displacement amount; a hysteresis group acquisition step for acquiring a hysteresis group having a relationship between the specified point and the applied load on the basis of the calculated strain amount of the specified point; and a determination step for calculating an area of the hysteresis group, and determining the rigidity of the specified point on the basis of the area. |
