Provided is an endoscopic device comprising: an imaging element that comprises first pixels having sensitivity in a first wavelength band and second pixels having sensitivity in a second wavelength band that includes a part of the first wavelength band; a light source unit that generates first light for irradiating a subject, said first light having an intensity that peaks in the part of the first wavelength band that is included in the second wavelength band; and an addition unit that generates a first addition signal in which an imaging signal obtained by irradiating the subject with the first light and receiving returning light from said subject in the first pixels is added to an imaging signal obtained by irradiating the subject with the first light and receiving returning light from said subject in the second pixels. |
