<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting operation support technique capable of realizing appropriate function utilization corresponding to a purpose even by a user not having high-grade knowledge about functions of a device having the plurality of functions, in function setting in the device. <P>SOLUTION: A setting operation support device includes: an item display control part for displaying a plurality of setting items capable of a setting operation in an optional order; an operation reception part for receiving operation input by a user; a selection item determination part for determining which of the plurality of setting items is selected on the basis of the operation input received in the operation reception part; a recommended procedure acquisition part for acquiring information indicating a target recommended setting procedure in which the setting item determined as being selected in the selection item determination part is positioned at the head of the setting procedure, from a database managing a plurality of recommended setting procedures registered beforehand for each of a plurality of prescribed processes; and a recommended display control part for displaying all the target recommended setting procedures on the basis of the information acquired by the recommended procedure acquisition part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
