This amyloid assay device (100) is provided with: an ultrasonic radiation unit (10) that radiates ultrasound to protein-containing solutions added to each of a plurality of wells of a microplate; and a fluorescence detection unit (20) that, by means of the ultrasound radiation, detects fluorescence released from bonds between amyloid-specific fluorescent dye and amyloids formed from protein. The ultrasonic radiation unit (10) radiates ultrasound evenly or unevenly to the plurality of wells. A thioflavin (T) is favorably used as the amyloid-specific fluorescent dye.
