PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a rigid sheet such as a rigid clear file is sometimes put into a device for performing sheet processing such as binding processing.SOLUTION: Sheet bending detection means 53 for detecting bending of a sheet is arranged in a sheet bundle insertion port 50 for manual processing. A pressing member 61 is urged upward via a spring 66 by rotation of a cam 57. When a rigid sheet is mixed into a sheet bundle, the pressing member 61 cannot be moved because the sheet bundle is not bent even by a pressing force of the pressing member 61. This state is detected so that it can be determined that a binding operation is disabled. |
