PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up element that can attain both of an image quality and an AF performance upon a video image of implementing mixture reading by disposing a pixel column having an aperture on an upper/lower side in addition to a pixel column having the aperture on a left/right side for focus detection.SOLUTION: In an image pick-up element having a plurality of imaging pixels and a plurality of focus detection pixels (RL pixel and TB pixel) having a position of an aperture of a light reception part displaced further than the imaging pixel, first focus detection pixels (R pixel and L pixel) having the position of the aperture displaced toward a first direction are configured to be disposed at a position corresponding to a first color filter of the imaging pixel at a first pixel pitch, and second focus detection pixels (T pixel and B pixel) having the position of the aperture displaced toward a second direction different from the first direction are configured to be disposed at a position corresponding to a second color filter different from the first color filter of the imaging pixel at a second pitch. |
