HUMAN SERUM AMYLOID A FUSION GENE AND HUMAN SERUM AMYLOID A FUSION PROTEIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel human serum amyloid A (SAA) fusion gene, and a novel human SAA fusion protein.SOLUTION: We found out that a human SAA3 is expressed as a human SAA2-human SAA3 fusion protein. Further, we newly found out that in a transcription product encoding this human SAA2-human SAA3 fusion protein, a human SAA2 exon 3 is bound to a human SAA3 exon 1. It is useful for the identification and diagnosis thereof, prevention, or treatment of diseases associated with SAA3.
