PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connection structure in which the possibility of checking light from a light source is improved.SOLUTION: A plug connection structure includes: a plug portion 500 having a plug body 550 connected to an end of a cable 580 having a core wire 530, an end of the core wire 530 provided in the plug body 550, a first optical transmission line part 540 that is provided in the plug body 550 so that one end and the other end are exposed at predetermined positions on the surface of the plug body 550 and that can transmit light from the one end to the other end and a plug terminal portion 520 connected to an end of the core wire 530; and a jack portion 300 having a jack body, an opening in which the plug portion 500 is inserted, a light source 350 that emits light when a predetermined signal is received and that is disposed in the jack body so that the light is made incident on the one end of the first optical transmission line part 540, a second optical transmission line part that guides the light emitted by the light source 350 to the outside of the jack body and a jack terminal portion 330 connected to the plug terminal portion 520. |
