PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric culture apparatus used for electric culture of microorganisms, which does not require a complicated control system of redox potential, and in which adherence of metal oxide or the like to electrode hardly occurs, complicated maintenance is not required, and efficient culture can be performed.SOLUTION: An electric culture apparatus including: a culture tank 10 for culturing microorganisms by culture solution; a working electrode 11 for applying voltage to culture solution prepared in the culture tank; a counter electrode vessel 30 connected to the culture tank via a communication part 20 partitioned by ion-exchange membrane; a counter electrode 31 provided for the counter electrode vessel; and voltage applying means for applying voltage between the working electrode and the counter electrode, in which the working electrode is an electrode having a shaft part connected to the voltage applying means 40 and a flat plate part which is electrically connected to the shaft part and on which a plurality of through-holes are formed, and the working electrode comprises rotating means which rotates about the shaft part. |
