PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting device and a waste gasification melting method capable of stable operation with the reduced use of coal coke and less emission of carbon dioxide.SOLUTION: In a waste gasification melting device, waste fed into a shaft type waste gasification furnace is thermally decomposed and burnt and a residual ash content is melted. The waste gasification melting device comprises: a coal coke supply unit 21 which supplies the gasification melting furnace 1 with coal coke; a petroleum coke supply unit 22 which supplies the gasification melting furnace 1 with petroleum coke; and a fuel gas supply unit 24 which injects fuel gas through a main tuyere 5 provided at a lower section of the gasification melting furnace 1 to inject oxygen-enriched air thereinto. |
