According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a light emitting device. The light emitting device includes a substrate; a light emitting structure which is arranged on the substrate and includes a first conductivity type semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductivity type semiconductor layer; and a first electrode and a second electrode which are respectively arranged on the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer. Grooves are formed on the bottom surface of the substrate. |
