PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device which achieves downsizing.SOLUTION: An emergency lighting device 10 includes: a device body 1 including a case 11 formed into a cylindrical shape; a light source unit 3 including a light emitting part 2; an emergency power source 5 including rechargeable batteries 4; a power supply device 6 which charges the rechargeable batteries 4 and causes the rechargeable batteries 4 to discharge electric current; and a fixing member for fixing the device body 1 to a ceiling material. The light source unit 3 is disposed at a lower end part arranged along a center axis A1 of the case 11 in the device body 1. The emergency power source 5 and the power supply device 6 are stored in the case 11. The power supply device 6 charges the rechargeable battery 4 during power supply from commercial power supply. Further, the power supply device 6 causes the rechargeable battery 4 to discharge the electric current and causes the light emitting part 2 to emit light using the emergency power source 5 as a power source during power stoppage of the commercial power supply. The fixing member 7 is formed so as to be attached to a peripheral wall 8 of the case 11. In the peripheral wall 8 of the case 11, a flat part 9 is provided at a portion to which the fixing member 7 is attached.
