<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve retrieval of the desired information. SOLUTION: A list of thumbnail images of plural frames is shown at a display part 62 based on the image data which are recorded in a flash memory 56. When a dial switch 28 is operated at a comparatively long time interval, the display of the thumbnail images shown at the part 62 are switched in response to the revolving direction and the rotational amount of the switch 28. If the switch 28 is operated at a time interval shorter than the time needed for switching shown thumbnail images, the information shown at the part 62 shows only a frame number corresponding to the thumbnail image to be shown. An operator operates continuously the switch 28 until the frame number with which his/her desired image is possibly recorded is shown. When a prescribed time passed after the operation of the switch 28 is discontinued, the thumbnail images corresponding to the frame numbers shown in a list are shown at the part 62.</p> |
