In an image pickup device (80) that is provided with a lower lighting device (88), a side lighting device (90), and a camera (96), a suction nozzle (60) is irradiated with light from below by means of the lower lighting device, and is irradiated with light from the side of the suction nozzle by means of the side lighting device. Then, the light radiated from the lower lighting device reaches the camera via first optical paths (paths between two dotted lines (106, 108, 110)), and the light radiated from the side lighting device reaches the camera via second optical paths (paths between two dotted lines (124, 126, 128)). Furthermore, the light radiated from the lower lighting device is blocked by means of light shielding blocks (92, 94) such that the light does not reach the camera along the second optical paths. Consequently, a ghost image can be eliminated in an image at the time of picking up an image of the suction nozzle lower surface side. |
