A network interface device, and a method for processing virtual packets are disclosed. The network interface device connected to a server implemented with multiple virtual machines comprises multiple queues. When receiving a virtual packet to be transmitted to a virtual machine via a physical network, the network interface device identifies a virtual flow of the virtual packet to store the virtual packet in the multiple queues by virtual flow, and then perform parallel processing via a multi-processor. |
