The present invention relates to a hollow self-crimping polyester fiber having excellent flexibility and functionality. According to the present invention, the hollow self-crimping polyester fiber is made of two kinds of polymers. The hollow self-crimping polyester fiber has a hollow cross-section by using a polyester copolymer having a peculiar viscosity of 0.6-0.85 and high shrinkage properties as a high viscosity polymer, and a general polyester polymer having a peculiar viscosity of 0.4-0.55 as a low viscosity polymer.
