A ceramic tray for use with a heat retaining substance that is used with a base that provides a housing for said heat retaining substance. The ceramic tray will preferably have two or more elongated ridges on the outer surface of its base. The elongated ridges will preferably be formed moulded or cast. The ceramic tray will also preferably have two or more elongated ridges on the inner surface of the base of the insert aperture that houses said heat retaining substance. The heat retaining substance/cooking surface will preferably consist of volcanic lava rock. The base that the ceramic tray will be inset will preferably be either wood or bamboo. |
