<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overload on a motor and to obtain a larger power reduction effect by appropriately controlling start/stop of an existing ball lifting/polishing device with an induction motor. <P>SOLUTION: The ball game island apparatus includes a power saving device 200 including: a ball detection device of the ball lifting/polishing device; a required discharge time measuring means; a calculation means for calculating power-off preparation time; a power on/off control means; and power on-off switches 205A and 205B. The power on/off control means outputs a power supply command signal for a lifting motor when a ball detection signal and a motion signal from the ball detection means satisfy an AND condition, and outputs a power-off command signal for cutting off the power supply to the lifting motor after the lapse of the power-off preparation time from the time when the power supply command signal is output. The power on/off switches 205A and 205B connects the power supply to the lifting motor when the power supply command signal is input from the power on/off control means, and cuts off the power supply from the lifting motor when the power-off command signal is input from the power on/off control means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
