The present invention relates to a power system using a braking resistor, allows electricity generated when drawworks are operated to collect heat through a heat exchanger using a braking resistor and to supply the collected heat as the heating for accommodations or hot water, and allows the electricity to be used for power generation by generating steam. To achieve this, the present invention, which collects heat by exchanging regeneration energy generated when braking a motor (200) through heat in a braking resistor (300) and supplies the collected heat as the heating for facilities or hot water, comprises: a steam generator (500) which generates steam using the regeneration energy generated from the motor (200); and a steam turbine (600) which generates power using the steam generated from the steam generator (500).
