APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING HYDROGEN AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING BALLAST WATER HAVING THE SAME

An apparatus for separating hydrogen is disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus separates a hydrogen gas from an electrolytic sterilizing solution generated in an electrolyzation facility provided to a ballast water treatment system. The present invention comprises: a gas-liquid separation unit separating a liquid and a gas from the electrolytic sterilizing solution supplied from the electrolyzation facility; and a gas discharge unit collecting the separated gas to be discharged to the outside. The gas discharge unit comprises: a separation chamber connected with the gas-liquid separation unit to store the separated gas; a gas discharge pipe connected to an upper portion of the separation chamber; and an opening and closing member opening and closing the gas discharge pipe to enable the gas stored in the separation chamber while a remaining liquid component is removed from the gas to be discharged through the gas discharge pipe.
