An acoustic liner 100 comprises first 140 and second 170 cores with a plurality of first 142 and second 172 core cells defined by first 152 and second 182 core cell walls and a second fabric sheet 160 between the first 140 and second 170 cores. The first 140 and second 170 cores have unequal thicknesses 148, 178 and the second walls 182 are not coplanar with any of the first walls 152. There may be an acoustic liner face sheet 110 including a plurality of orifices 112 and a first fabric sheet 130 coupled between the acoustic liner face sheet 110 and the first core 140. Also disclosed is a nacelle 30 comprising an acoustic liner 100 and a structural inner barrel 200 which comprises a third core 220 with a plurality of third core cells 222 defined by third core cell walls 232. The acoustic liner 100 is coupled to the structural inner barrel 200. The third walls 232 may not be coplanar with any of the first 152 or second 182 walls and/or may have a cross sectional diameter 230 that is not equal to the cross sectional diameter 150, 180 of the first 142 and second 172 core cells. |
