The present invention relates to a system and method for air quality information service. The present invention includes: a receiving unit receiving data measured by a sensor for measuring the air quality; a virtual sensor module generating air quality data of a specific area by using the air quality data of a global range; a correction module generating corrected air quality data through correction of the air quality data of the specific area by using the measured data; and a transmission unit transmitting the corrected air quality data to a user′s terminal. According to the present invention, the present invention may enhance the provision range of the air quality information through the virtual sensor module.
