1. A configuration information acquisition method, comprising:
based on one or more basic information pieces for identifying one or more storage apparatuses managing a plurality of resources, transmitting requests to the one or more storage apparatuses to acquire as a priority configuration information on, of the plurality of resources, resources logically closer to a host computer of the one or more storage apparatuses; receiving the configuration information corresponding to the requests from the one or more storage apparatuses; and incorporating the received configuration information into configuration management information for managing configuration information on resources managed by the one or more storage apparatuses.
