PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve size reduction of a crank continuously variable transmission while ensuring the strength and rigidity of an eccentricity variable mechanism.SOLUTION: If a transmission shaft 15 is caused to make a relative rotation to an input shaft 11, a pair of first discs 32A and a second disc 32B make a relative movement to a pair of crank arms 31, whereby a positional relation of an eccentric disc 13 to the crank arms 31 changes and an eccentricity &egr; of the eccentric disc 13 changes. Since the paired first discs 32A are disposed to hold an eccentric disc 13 therebetween and the first discs 32A and the second disc 32B overlap one another axially, it is possible to reduce a diameter of the eccentric disc 13 and reduce a size of an eccentricity variable mechanism 14. Furthermore, by holding the eccentric disc 13 between the paired crank arms 31 and the paired first discs 32A, it is possible to increase the strength and rigidity of the eccentricity variable mechanism 14 and improve control accuracy over a transmission gear ratio. |
