PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which leakage light from the fitting part of an enclosure and a backlight is reduced.SOLUTION: The display device includes a first enclosure 3 for housing a display panel between a backlight and itself. The backlight is provided with a light source board 2f on which a light source 2e is mounted and a second enclosure 2g for holding the light source board 2f. The second enclosure 2 g is provided with a rear part 2gb and a first side wall part 2ga protruding in the front direction of the backlight from the rear part 2gb, with the light source board 2f fixed in the inside of the first side wall part 2ga and an opening 2gc provided in the first side wall part 2ga in such a way as to overlap the light source board 2f, the opening 2gc being provided apart from the rear part 2gb. The first enclosure 3 is provided with a front frame part 3b and a second side wall part 3a protruding in the rear direction of backlight from the front frame part 3b, with a salient 3c provided in the inside of the second side wall part 3a and the salient 3c fitted into the opening 2gc, the first enclosure 3 being fixed to the second enclosure 2g. |
