<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality of a carrier device in an early stage even when either of overload abnormality or non-rotation abnormality occurs, by accurately diagnosing whether or not overload abnormality or non-rotation abnormality occurs in the carrier device for every motor of a carrier roll. <P>SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnostic apparatus 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention performs an abnormality diagnosis of a carrier device 10 that rotates a plurality of carrier rolls by driving a plurality of motors respectively to carry metal materials, and includes a diagnostic unit 4. The diagnostic unit 4 determines whether or not there is a steel strip 20 on a carrier roll subject to diagnosis in the plurality of carrier rolls. When there is no steel strip 20, the diagnostic unit 4 diagnoses overload abnormality of the carrier device 10 on the basis of a load current value of the motor subject to diagnosis which rotates the carrier roll subject to diagnosis and, when there is the steel strip 20, diagnoses the non-rotation abnormality of the carrier device 10 on the basis of the load current value of the motor subject to diagnosis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
