<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing a flake compound that can easily remove cotton matter and/or dust originating in a compound in a flaker in producing the flake compound and recover the removed cotton matter and/or dust as a compound-dissolved solution in a production process. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the flake compound includes a flaker having a cooling drum, a scraping blade, a melt supply port and a flake material recovery port; and a melting drum having a suction apparatus.
