<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine and a stator of the rotary electric machine which reduce a core damage caused by surface pressure from a holding ring. <P>SOLUTION: A stator of an electric motor is provided with a cylindrical stator ring 15 by which a plurality of core bodies are held. The stator ring 15 has a cylindrical part 151 to which the core bodies are attached, and an outer circumference flange 152 extending radially outward over a whole circumference in an axial end of the cylindrical part 151. On the outer circumference flange 152, a plurality of bead parts 155 projecting radially outward are formed. The bead parts 155 stand up from the outer circumference flange 152, and extend to the cylindrical part 151. The bead parts 155 are provided on the outer circumference flange 152, and thereby, a plurality of inner circumference slits 156 are formed on an inner circumference surface of the stator ring 15 corresponding to a back surface of the bead parts 155. Each inner circumference slit 156 extends in a circumferential direction, and thereby, the axial end of the stator ring 15 is formed extensible radially. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
